Welcome to West Greenwich Animal Hospital
Thank you for choosing the West Greenwich Animal Hospital for your pet health needs. We are an
animal health
clinic that
serves
West Greenwich and it's surrounding areas of East Greenwich,
Coventry, Richmond, Foster, Scituate, Sterling Connecticut and other neighboring areas. We are happy that you have chosen us to care for your pet, and we
will always do so with gentleness and compassion.
Whether you are visiting us for routine
pet vaccinations or a major pet surgery, your pet’s health and comfort is of the utmost importance to us. From the

time
you enter our clinic, our goal is to help your pet feel relaxed and at
home. We provide a soothing atmosphere, pet treats, blankets and a
gentle demeanor to reduce tension and help your pet remain calm.
We
offer the
preventive care services that all pets need, including
routine exams, pet spay and neuter services and pet vaccinations. During
an exam, we’ll check your pet’s overall wellness and ask you questions
about their eating, sleeping and exercise habits. Preventive care works best from a
young age. We’ll begin a pet vaccination schedule as soon as possible
to avoid life-threatening illnesses.
Pet vaccinations are vital
to keeping your dog or cat from contracting dangerous diseases, such as
parvo, rabies, bordetella and lyme disease. When you visit for your
puppy or kitten's first few vaccination visits, we will also let you
know when the best time will be to take advantage of our
pet spay and
neuter services.
Surgical Pet Dentistry and Other Pet Hospital Services
If
we find a potential health problem during your pet’s exam, or if you
suspect that your pet may be unwell, we are able to help diagnose the problem quickly using the in-house lab and digital
x-ray services available here at our clinic. We will also prescribe
treatment, and if necessary, a prescription that you can fill on the
spot at our in-house pharmacy.

Occasionally,
surgery may be required. If so,
our highly trained veterinarians
and staff will take special care of your beloved pet. We offer
pet dentistry for
a variety of oral health problems, including fractured teeth, root
abscesses, tartar and gingivitis. We will work hard to solve your pet's
health needs while minimizing pain following the operation.
If
your pet has an urgent medical need, we encourage you to contact us immediately. We provide urgent care and emergency services six days a
week, regardless of whether or not you have an appointment. If you do
not require urgent care from our emergency pet hospital, but need to
bring your pet in for a check-up, we encourage you to call us today to
request an appointment. We look forward to seeing you soon!
