Dr. Ralph Pratt, DVM graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine (a long time ago). He holds his Master of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island and his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Massachusetts.
He practiced in Massachusetts and Rhode Island before starting the West Greenwich Animal Hospital with his wife, Dr Amy Pratt in 1995. At the West Greenwich Animal Hospital, Dr Ralph provides medical care for all sorts of animals. He especially likes doing surgery and dental procedures. He is also the Chief Veterinarian for the Narragansett Bay Coyote Study. In this passive coyote management program, he assists Dr Numi Mitchell in the catch and release of coyotes with the sole purpose of equipping them with a GPS tracking collar. This enables monitoring of their movements. With more knowledge of coyote movements, people will be better prepared to co-habitat with coyotes. Dr Ralph has a son, four cats and a dog. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, cross country skiing, woodworking, reading and hiking.
Dr. Amy Pratt, DVM graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She holds her Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources from the University of Rhode Island. She practiced in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island before starting the West Greenwich Animal Hospital with her husband, Dr. Ralph Pratt in 1995. Dr Amy stays busy taking care of all of her canine and feline patients along with providing medical care for rabbits and the occasional goat. In addition to all of her duties at the animal hospital, she also takes care of her son and is helping to renovate her home. Dr Amy is also the founder and president of The Greene School, a public charter school in West Greenwich, R.I. This is a very important project and she is proud to be involved in expanding environmental education. Dr Amy hopes someday to rediscover other hobbies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, their dog and four cats.
K.Dana Brown , DVM
Dr. Dana graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She holds her Master of Science degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelors degree in Agronomy. Dr. Dana is married and has one daughter and one son. She has been with the West Greenwich Animal Hospital since 1999.
Betsy Richmond , DVM
Dr. Betsy graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She has her Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard University. Dr. Betsy is married and has two daughters and a dog. She joined the West Greenwich Animal Hospital staff in 2002.
Laura Brannigan , DVM
Dr. Laura graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science at Colorado State University in 1997. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of New Hampshire. Dr. Laura is married with one son, and has three dogs and two cats. She joined the West Greenwich Animal Hospital staff in January 2004.

Suzanne Scott , DVM
Dr. Suzanne graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. Dr. Suzanne is married and has a daughter, a son, four dogs and three cats. Dr. Suzanne joined the West Greenwich Animal Hospital staff in November 2006.
